FAQ
Amorphous vs. Nanocrystalline vs. Permalloy?
Amorphous offers low loss and high Bs at attractive cost—great for larger sizes and low–mid frequencies. Nanocrystalline delivers higher permeability and lower loss at mid–high frequencies. Permalloy excels in ultra-low loss and stability for precision sensing.
Can you make gapped or cut cores?
Yes. We provide calibrated gaps and cut cores with targeted μe, plus winding and thermal recommendations.
How do I select the right grade?
Share inductance, current/ΔI, frequency, window limits, and temperature rise targets. We will propose grade, geometry, gap and turns with loss/thermal estimates.
Need a recommendation or sample?
Tell us your target inductance, frequency, current, size limits, and thermal targets. We will provide a design proposal and lead time.
